About Us In 1981, partners Joseph and James DeStefano formed Desco Associates as a landscape, construction and design company focusing on detail and customer service. They quickly established relationships with several notable companies including: Wang, Hamilton Companies, Mt. Auburn Hospital, Storrow Companies, Intercontinental, Meditrust and New Boston Fund. Desco Associates began purchasing commercial and high-end residential real estate in 1988, with the majority of these restoration projects located in Belmont and Newton, Massachusetts. In 1998, as the newly incorporated Desco Associates, Inc., a high-end residential property was rehabbed at 38 Orient Avenue, Newton, MA.
